I really appreciate all of the support we have been getting and I am glad to see more players interested in the city. I updated the original presentation with a current list of characters who are members of the clan. Also, the screenshots of the city that were posted are now very out of date, so I updated those with more current images.

Enjoy!

Eagerly awaiting the day that Funcom adds caravans and we can start sending things back-and-forth between Uresh and Saoirse/the Crafthall!! πŸ‘

To that end, we may want to start thinking about specializations and WHY trade between the towns would be "a thing" (IC/as a RP hing - even with harvesting turned down people are still mainly hording mats and not needing to trade outside their own small groups I'm finding).

Here's an idea: the Crafthall (both for IC as well as OOC reasons) has set up a pretty efficient iron/steel/weapons/armor production system, but is weak in silk, furniture, and (to a lesser extent) actual building materials, mainly because I (as a player) dislike making bricks and Kubilai (IC) is afraid of spiders and caves.

If you're game, we should RP a negotiation between Kubilai and your Town Elders to have Saoirse supply metalwork, then you can effectively "corner the market" for non-metal goods like actual building mats and furnishings. Assuming you're OK with that, of course. 😬

CHARACTERS:

- Kubilai the Hyrkanian (Owner of the Four Winds Crafthall)
- Zephyra the Huntress (Cimmerian wanderer and leatherworker, currently allied with the Amazons)

I am sure we can some up with something. The game is rather limited at the moment and Saoirse and Uresh are so close that we have similar access to similar materials. If farming and food preservation were a thing, we could do something where Saoirse provided Uresh with food. We are currently expanding so we are not selling our building mats at the moment but if that changes we can work something out. The only organic trade I have been able to manage is buying thralls from Abriael. He has easy access to thralls but not building mats. We have easy access to mats but not thralls. It works out well. We need to find that thing that Saoirse or the Crafthall can provide that is too difficult or time consuming for us to produce ourselves. I would like more RP trade but trading away things we need for things that we don't need doesn't help. We can provide furniture of pretty much any kind, but the wood is costly for us.

Definitely seek us out IC. I am sure there is something here that makes sense, we just need some time to hash it out.

I do want to see some sort of regular trade set up between our cities. It IS tricky when both places can do pretty much all the same things though. Knowing the resources available between both cities I'd say at the moment Saoirse may be the richer of the two at present. So IC it might make sense for Uresh to focus on finished "luxury" goods like clothing and furnishings in exchange for the things that are harder for them to get, like wood and shaped wood from Saoirse. Just an idea. But certainly a meeting of some of Uresh's Oligarchs and the leaders of Saoirse is in order and soon! :)
